The bag opens with a frame mechanism that springs open when you pull the leather tabs and stays open until you snap it back closed. The strap is a strong steel gold chain with leather over your shoulder for comfort and is long enough to wear cross body. Impeccable craftsmanship. Lined in canvas with an inside zipper pocket.
